As a highly experienced learning and development professional and former executive director, I largely operate in a freelance capacity, working as an Associate for a number of fantastic Learning & Development organisations.

I am a qualified ILM Level 7 Executive Coach, an accredited Spotlight practioner and licensed to use the EBW Emotional Intelligence System for Business.

My experience

I am a highly experienced senior manager, learning professional and strategic thinker who’s committed to developing people and helping them realise their potential. I believe I am an extremely competent coach, facilitator and consultant, who is determined and enthusiastic about driving effective change.

I have had over 35 years’ experience of working in customer led, people focused businesses and know from first hand experience what it’s like to operate around a boardroom table, using a coaching style of leadership, underpinned by effective support and challenge.

I regularly work with senior management teams, both here in the UK and overseas, in industries as diverse as banking, pharmaceuticals, local authorities, manufacturing and sport.

I have been described by clients as someone with great integrity and professionalism, with a focus on adding real and tangible value. I have also been described as authentic, charismatic (not sure about that one!) and pragmatic, as well as ethical and client driven (more comfortable with those!)

My qualifications

  • ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching
  • CIPD Certificate in Recruitment and Selection (merit)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Internal Communication Management (Kingston University)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management

I am an Associate member of the Association for Coaching.

The approach to what I do is based on flexibility, as no two coachees, teams or organisations are the same.

I do though of course utilise my key strengths in order to bring the best possible value to any situation.
